Learn More About Connecticut Top Dentist – 2013:
In order to identify the 2013 Top Dentists, Connecticut Magazine sent questionnaires to every dentist licensed in Connecticut asking them to recommend a dentist to whom they would send a loved one for care in seven categories. “Connecticut native, Dr. Frank Maratta, received his undergraduate degree in biology with a minor in Italian at Trinity College in Hartford, and earned his D.M.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in Farmington. He completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program at Columbia University School of Dental Medicine and specialty training in Prosthodontics at Montefiore Medical Center, both in New York, and is board-certified by the American Board of Prosthodontics and a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontics.
He is qualified to do all types of restorative dentistry, complete mouth restorations, cosmetic dentistry, maxillofacial prostheses and artificial substitutes for oral and facial tissue for patients who’ve suffered a traumatic injury or cancer. He customizes treatments and does much of his own lab work on the premises of New Haven Prosthodontics, which offers many patients a smile makeover in as little as one day. Trained in the latest techniques, he can perform revisions of dental procedures for patients dissatisfied with previous treatments.
